Our mission extends beyond the savanna. At the heart of Magic Wildlife Safaris is a deep commitment to the Lake Bunyonyi community we call home. We dedicate a portion of our profits to uplifting local orphaned children by sponsoring their education and ensuring they have access to healthy meals. Kazira Kids is led by Charles Kukunda, a community leader whose passion for education is born from his own life experience. Growing up in the Lake Bunyonyi area, Charles was acutely aware of the systemic issues facing local youth, including high school dropout rates and child labor.

He faced these same barriers himself, nearly losing the chance for higher education due to financial hardship. However, thanks to a life-changing sponsorship, he was able to enroll at Kabale University and successfully earn his degree. Having walked this difficult path, Charles is now dedicated to creating a new route for the children of his community—one paved with opportunity, support, and the promise of a brighter future through education.

We believe in nurturing the whole child. At Kazira Kids, we provide a quality education that equips our students with the confidence and skills to build their own futures. Just as importantly, we provide a nutritious daily meal, because we know that a healthy body is essential for a growing mind. Our goal is to ensure every child is fed, supported, and ready to learn.
